A well-established charity with UK and international operations, including subsidiaries in Israel, is seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Finance to join its team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in their career and take ownership of a broad finance function within a purpose-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee monthly management accounts for multiple entities across the Charity Group.
- Manage the day-to-day transactional finance function, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare, monitor and analyse cash flow forecasts across the Group.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insight and analysis.
- Oversee month-end reporting and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Prepare VAT returns, payroll journals and other statutory submissions.
- Produce detailed financial reports, analysis and commentary for the Finance Director.
- Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained using Xero.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Candidate Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified or finalist candidates will also be considered.
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring or managing a small team.
- Experience within the charity sector is desirable but not essential.
- Essential experience using Xero.
