Title : Head of Continuous Operations Location : York (Office Based) Beyond IT Support: Your Complete Technology Department as a Service. Our Continuous Operations function integrates seamlessly into our clients' businesses, providing the engineering-led architecture, elite cross-platform support, and proactive security usually reserved for large enterprises. We are looking for a commercially driven, technically fluent Head of Continuous Operations to lead and rapidly scale this division. Your primary mandate will be to capitalise on this stability by stepping out into a commercial, pre-sales capacity - working heavily alongside our COO and new Growth & Marketing Manager to sell our Continuous Operations offering to existing, potential, and new clients. As you win new business and scale our client base (primarily within our target sectors, such as financial services), you will be responsible for growing the department, hiring elite engineers, and ensuring our service delivery remains unparalleled. Spearhead Commercial Growth : Act as the technical pre-sales authority, actively selling our Continuous Operations services. Maintain oversight of our high-calibre support function, ensuring we consistently deliver proactive security, modern MI reporting architectures, and cross-platform support (Windows, macOS, Linux). Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the Growth & Marketing Manager on campaigns, partner with the COO on commercial strategy, and identify complex consulting opportunities to refer to our CEO-led consulting practice. Commercial IT Experience : A proven track record in technical pre-sales, account management, or business development within an IT services, consultancy, or high-end managed services environment. A strong understanding of modern IT environments (cloud architecture, DevOps principles, cyber security, networking, and governance) to credibly pitch to technical stakeholders and C-suite executives. You must possess a consultative approach to service design, understanding how to tailor technology to real business outcomes. Experience working with heavily regulated industries, such as financial services or fintech, is highly desirable. You will have the autonomy to build and scale a core business unit from the ground up, with a direct pathway to Director or C-level operational roles as the Continuous Operations division expands.
