Course Leader: MA Combined Arts (Online)

Falmouth University are looking to recruit a highly ambitious individual to act as Course Leader for our two new Combined Arts Integrated MA courses. Falmouth Online courses are accelerated in nature, meaning the integrated Masters courses will run for 3 years full time for students and be delivered fully online and predominantly asynchronously (with a small amount of synchronous contact focusing on support and progress checking for learners).

This ambitious and unique program blends undergraduate and postgraduate study into an exciting three‑year journey and has been designed to use a problem‑based learning pedagogic curriculum approach. This approach allows students on these courses to self‑direct their exploration of several various creative disciplines such as design, writing, illustration, visual communication, and fine art.

The PBL approach also facilitates engagement in real‑world challenges through the students\’ problem‑based learning cases that could cover topics from wellbeing to sustainability, offering an authentic and highly personalised learning experience. A key benefit of this approach is also that it develops transferable creative and critical skills across multiple arts‑based disciplines, opening doors to diverse career opportunities in the creative industries and beyond for students.
