Falmouth Exeter Plus are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Casual Nursery Nurse to join the close-knit team at our Nursery at the Penryn campus. Our unique setting provides a warm, nurturing environment and high quality childcare for children aged 6 months to five years. Ofsted rated ‘Good’, our nurseries are extremely popular and led by a dedicated supportive team that create a warm, homely atmosphere that helps children to settle and thrive.
You will assist in implementing daily planning and activities in a way which provides a stimulating and secure learning environment. This position will be on a casual basis, to provide cover as required.
The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent; however, candidates possessing a level 2 will also be considered. You should possess previous experience of working with children, high standards of care, as well as a flexible approach towards working hours.
The nursery is open Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5.30 pm, therefore we are looking for candidates who are available to cover these hours across the week, when required. The hours for this role will be on an ad-hoc/flexible basis, covering staff absence and therefore could fit around candidates' existing commitments.
Due to the nature of the role, you will also be required to undergo an enhanced with regulated activity Disclosure & Barring Service Check.
