We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Academic Developer to join our partnerships team. This full‑time role will support the University and our partners in delivering excellence in higher education. The role will focus on all learning and teaching aspects of our academic partnerships, including quality and standards, academic judgements on applications, assessment and feedback practices, and creative pedagogies. The role will work closely with the partnerships team to facilitate the holistic academic partner relationship, taking an active role in helping academic partners meet and understand key quality and standards metrics as well as supporting them in meeting these benchmarks.
You are an experienced academic with a passion for teaching and learning. You will have a proven track record of delivering high‑quality, innovative teaching and learning, and a collaborative and flexible approach to team working. Enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively. Able to demonstrate a clear commitment to the development of teaching and learning. Experienced in the regulatory frameworks in higher education and able to contribute to developing new ways of teaching and learning. A team player, ready to collaborate and engage with colleagues across the university and our academic partners.
This is a full‑time, 35 hours per week role, working Monday‑Friday. The role offers a hybrid flexible approach to working, with the opportunity to work from home some of the week. Travel to our academic partners will be required.
