Position details

Substitute Custodian for the 2025-2026 School Year. CURRENT ACTIVE SUBSTITUTES ONLY NEED TO RE-CORI. Contact Human Resources at humanresources@falmouth.k12.ma.us to make arrangements. This position fills in for absences of regular staff as needed, with advance notice whenever possible.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Certificate of good health signed by a licensed physician, upon hire.
  • Ability to read basic operating instructions and reports.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for fulfilling assigned tasks successfully.
  • Other qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent of Schools.

Responsibilities

This position supports the custodial staff by:

  • Providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within the school and grounds.
  • Performing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Completing other duties as assigned by the Principal or Head Custodian.

Salary

$18.00 per hour.
