We are currently working with a uniquely positioned real estate business that drives forward their own investment and development schemes as well as handling consultancy development / project management work for leading institutional investors and JV partners. They have an exceptional talented team and are looking for a Senior Project Manager / Development Project Manager to join the London office to work on both client schemes and direct developments.

Remuneration: £80,000 - £95,000 + Benefits + Bonus c.10 – 20%

London office: 4/1 set up.

The Role: The Senior Project Manager will be joining a small, proactive team and will report into one of the directors with responsibility for leading new build and refurbishment projects across the 360‑project lifecycle. Their core sector focus is industrial, hotel, office and residential / PBSA with project values between £5 million to c.£80 million. The Project Manager will initially focus on a c.£50 million new build PBSA scheme at outline planning and a £10 million apart hotel scheme moving into site delivery, with a number of future schemes and developments coming online.

As the business is uniquely positioned offering both the consultant services as well as investing and developing out a number of their own schemes, in addition to project running and helping with business development, the SPM will also work with the capital markets and analyst team assessing potential new investment and development opportunities so any experience in front‑end development appraisals, feasibility, DD, and planning would be advantageous. Given the above this represents a great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who is looking to develop their career into the Development Project Management space.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified with a BSc in Project Management
  • Circa 6+ years’ PQE experience managing 360 projects preferably within the hotel, industrial, office and residential / PBSA sector.
  • Additional experience in development management (inputting into appraisals, DD and planning) would be advantageous.
  • Personality: Fun, social, ambitious, and commercially astute.

This is an exciting and relatively unique opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a small business where they can have 360 leadership of projects and develop their career into the Development Project Management space.
