We are currently working with an award-winning studio who have an excellent reputation across London’s high-end residential architecture and interior design space. With a strong pipeline of work and further practice expansion, they are looking to hire an experienced Senior Architect to join their friendly South-west London team.
Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus
The Role: The successful Architect will join a dynamic, friendly studio in a senior position and will have the autonomy to lead multiple client projects across the RIBA lifecycle in addition to overseeing and mentoring the mid and junior architects in the practice. Projects will be focused on high-end residential new build, refurbishment and extension schemes covering full interior design, M&E and basement digs with construction values generally between £500,000 and c.£6 million. They are looking for a technically astute individual who has the ability to be hands-on and advise on matters such as pre-app, planning, design, material selection, contracts, warranties and statutory obligations and someone who has the personality to be able to work with HNW clients. Due to the level of the role, they are looking for someone who has some management experience and who is commercially astute in understanding fee proposals and balancing high-design and cost for their clients as they are keen for the person to develop into an Associate level within 12 - 18 months.
Requirements:
- RIBA III qualified Architect.
- 7+ years’ experience within the private client high-end residential sector.
- Strong technical experience across all RIBA stages with the ability to manage clients, consultants and contractors.
- Experience leading and delegating to project teams both in-studio and on-site.
- Software experience to include Vectorworks, InDesign, CAD and MS Office.
- Good eye for detail, a passion for delivering a high-end product and a proactive and friendly persona.
