A privately owned commercial property company is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Asset Management team in the day to day running and facilities management of their Central London managed office portfolio.
Role responsibilities
- Based on site at one of the office locations with a roaming role around the London assets and shared responsibility for the day to day smooth running of the London sites.
- Being part of the property management team responsible for looking after Tenants.
- Gaining a particular understanding of the Hard Services set ups across all sites.
- Helping to monitor the PPM across all sites.
- Attending first call out for any issues coordinating necessary next steps.
- Understanding of IT and tech set ups in each building and providing basic tenant support.
- Responsibility for monitoring lift servicing and following up lift insurance inspections across all sites.
- Checking all scheduled statutory H&S checks and maintenance visits are performed and correctly recorded.
- Working with asset managers to identify and implement planned maintenance.
- Assisting with minor works projects, minor repairs and small refurbishments as required.
The individual
- A hands-on individual who is organised, possesses practical skills and has good initiative.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a small, hands on team alongside senior leadership.
- Previous experience in on-site building management, building operations, property management or facilities management would be advantageous but other individuals such as graduates with some applicable experience, or relevant trade apprentices would also be considered.
- Experience with building management systems, Hard services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems) and statutory compliance would be useful but not essential.
Remuneration
The salary level for this hire will depend on the successful candidate’s prior experience but is likely to be in the range of £32,000 - £37,000 plus benefits.
