The predicted salary is between 60000 - 65000 £ per year.

We are currently working with a London based client who have a mixed-use estate holding comprising of heritage Victorian assets and more modern buildings. They are currently looking for a capital Projects Manager / Building Surveyor to oversee refurbishment and value add schemes across the portfolio.

Remuneration: £60,000 - £65,000

The Role: You will join a small estates team and be project biased overseeing capital works projects across their estate portfolio. Projects will cover both internal and external works from smaller fabric upgrades at c.£100,000 to larger programmes of work at c.£3 million. In addition, the surveyor will oversee external consultant teams for professional surveying and larger major works projects. There will be high level reporting across senior stakeholders and liaison with the wider estates, investment and asset teams. They are looking for a proactive individual who will oversee multiple projects across the estate and who has a focus on asset protection, heritage and regeneration.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Building Surveying or Project Management (MRICS / MCIOB qualified preferable)
  • Circa 5 years’ experience in building surveying and project management preferably working on a wide asset class base such as residential, education and office.
  • Sound technical ability in defect diagnosis, building regs, programme management and dealing with contractors, consultants and occupiers.
