Risk Assessor (Residential Assets) – Home based Thames Valley
Company Overview:
We are working with a leading property company with an impressive multi-billion-pound residential private leasehold portfolio across the UK. They are currently looking for a Fire and Health & Safety Risk Assessor to join their rapidly growing team overseeing their portfolio in the Thames Valley / M4 corridor.
Remuneration:
Home based role covering M4 corridor (Bristol, Swindon, Reading, Slough)
The Role:
The Fire and Health & Safety Risk Assessor will undertake site-based internal and external common parts risk assessments across their residential portfolio along the M4 corridor. The portfolio consists of all private leasehold blocks, and the Risk Assessor will report into the Property Management team for this area.
The majority of the initial work will be Type 1 fire risk assessment and report writing using Safety Culture software, assisting the property teams to produce remedial work schedules. The role will be home based with expected site visits 3 – 4 times per week. The company is happy to provide training to develop the individual to undertake Type 2 & 4 EWS surveys in the future as well as develop their fire and H&S qualifications.
Requirements:
- Experience in conducting Fire and H&S Risk Assessments within residential blocks.
- Good knowledge of the fire and H&S legislation and technical standards.
- Good communication and report writing skills with strong organizational ability for home-based working.
- Clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
