We are currently working with a leading investment and development business in London who are looking for a project biased Building Surveyor to join their London team and oversee their residential development and regeneration projects.

Reporting into the senior management team, the Project Building Surveyor will work across a large, varied London residential portfolio including many high-end, Victorian and Edwardian blocks, co-living, heritage and mixed-use buildings.
The role will be project focused managing internal and external refurbishments, high-end building repositioning, planned preventative maintenance and smaller fabric enhancements to increase the assets long term value. In addition to the project focused work, the Building / Project Surveyor will oversee external consultants on professional work and be responsible for defect diagnosis, building pathology, pre-acquisition surveys and inputting into their continuous improvement cycle to refine specification and scope and optimise procurement and programme strategies.

- MRICS qualified with a BSc in Building Surveying or property related degree
- ~5+ years’ experience in building surveying and project management preferably within the residential space managing projects up to £2 million
- Sound technical ability in defect diagnosis, building regulations, programme management and dealing with contractors, consultants and occupiers.
