We are working with a successful high-end residential central London investment, development and management business who have a track record of redeveloping multiple projects in London for their own investment and private clients. They are currently looking for a Development Manager to join their London team to oversee existing schemes and a future development pipeline.
The Development Manager will be joining an exceptional team in the London office and will contribute to overseeing the cradle to grave development cycle of their high-end residential projects. Developments are a mix of single and multi-unit cut and carve, extension/basement dig, refurbishment and new build, in prime London postcodes, with construction costs between £5 million and £50 million. The role will report into the Head of Development and lead the early stage input into development appraisals, planning, concept design, appointment of the professional teams and sales and marketing strategy with higher level oversight of the professional teams and financial model in delivery to FF&E completion sale/lease.
They are looking for a proactive individual who has previous experience in high-end residential development and project management, JCT D&B contracts and who has the commercial acumen, attention to detail and drive to succeed in an expanding business. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are going through their next growth phase with secured capital ready to deploy and a number of potential new acquisitions in the pipeline in addition to the current projects.
Requirements:
- MRICS preferable with a BSc in Project Management or Real Estate
- Circa 8+ years’ experience in development focused primarily on high-end/luxury residential projects valued between £5 million and £50 million.
- Good experience across the 360-development process from appraisal and planning through consultant team management in design and delivery to sale/marketing strategy.
- Commercially astute with strong written, interpersonal, time and stakeholder management skills.
