The Company
Our client is a leading advisory business covering the UK and Europe in specialist sectors which include hotels, pubs, restaurants, childcare, healthcare, retail, leisure and medical. The position has been created due to high demand for our client’s services and a desire to grow. Working in the Lease Advisory team, this individual will act on behalf of developers, private equity, funds, banks, family offices, brands and occupiers. Supporting the business in the North of England, this role could be based in Leeds, Newcastle, or Manchester, or the surrounding areas, and will involve regular travel for inspections. WFH is offered too.

The Role
The role will focus on rent reviews and lease renewals across all sectors of our client’s coverage with typical tasks including:

  • Undertaking inspections and measured surveys
  • Lease interpretation and analysis
  • Analysis of comparable evidence
  • Negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals on behalf of tenants and landlords
  • Representing landlords/tenants in third party disputes

The Person
The position could be Surveyor, Senior Surveyor or Associate Director level. Candidate requirements include:

  • 1 - 5 years PQE experience
  • Prior experience of L&T / Lease Advisory is essential with a preference given to hospitality or medical experience although not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting lease documentation and market data.
  • Full driving license

Remuneration
The salary will depend on prior experience with a likely range of £40,000 - £60,000 plus car allowance, benefits and a transparent commission structure.
