Our client is a leading real estate investment, asset and development management business with a long-standing track record in large, dominant assets in the retail sector. With extensive experience ranging from full development to the asset management of some of the UK’s best known shopping centres and retail parks, our client is a market leader and is partnered with leading private equity houses.
About the Role
Due to rapid growth in recent years including some new, very prominent projects, our client is now seeking a numerical individual (SS or Associate equivalent level) to join their investment management team in a role that will include the acquisition and disposal of assets.
Responsibilities
- Appraisal of potential acquisitions and assistance with investment due diligence.
- Assisting with asset disposals.
- Periodic reporting for existing shopping centres.
- Financial analysis to determine the viability of asset management initiatives (such as refurbishment or redevelopment).
- The production of recommendation papers.
Candidate requirements
- Degree educated in a real estate or finance focused subject ideally.
- 4 + years of relevant experience with exposure to the retail sector.
- Financially literate with strong excel skills (essential) and the ability to use and put data into existing models.
Remuneration
This role has a competitive basic salary which is expected to be in the range of £50,000 to c. £70,000 per annum, dependant on prior experience, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.
