Head of Mobilisation – High-end Residential portfolio

We are currently working on a retained mandate to find a Head of Mobilisation for one of our high-end residential clients with a multi-billion-pound portfolio. They have an exceptional reputation for delivering some of the world’s landmark super prime residential and commercial real estate assets. This key hire will be based in their London office and will lead and mentor a small team mobilising new luxury assets with impeccable precision.

Remuneration:

Dependant on experience + Benefits + Bonus

Hybrid set up 4 office 1 home.

The role:

The mobilisation team focus on transitioning high-end residential and some office developments from construction into operational readiness and successful management. The overarching role takes predominantly new build developments from 12 month before practical completion through commissioning, soft launch and operational readiness into management team hand over and overseeing the asset journey throughout the first year.

Core management and oversight responsibilities will include leading, mentoring and growing the existing mobilisation team. Leading the building hand over and operational strategy across the critical pathway. Managing the soft launch, commissioning, compliance, and set up of the operational, maintenance and management contracts. Having oversight of snagging, defects and service charge. Working closely with the HR and wider business to hire the residential management team. Forge strong relationships across internal teams, leaseholders, freeholders and developers feeding back lessons learnt for continuous 360 improvement. Internal reporting and stratergy planning.

The successful Mobilisation Manager will have management experience or be ready to step into this role and a passion for luxury real estate understanding the service level needed when working with UHNW clients. They are looking for someone who is professional, hyper organised and has exceptional attention to detail and quality in the work they do.

Requirements:

  • Property related degree preferable
  • Solid experience in mobilisation management preferably with experience in the ultra-high-end residential, hotel or office space.
  • Proactive attitude with good presentation, attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Experience in team leadership, management and mentoring
  • Experience working with Gantt charts preferable
  • Focus on service delivery and stakeholder management
