The Company Falmouth Fairfax are delighted to be exclusively instructed to recruit an Asset Manager for Store Property, a B Corp certified property company based in Chichester, Sussex with a substantial commercial property portfolio of over 2 million sq ft in London and the southeast.
The Role
- Reporting to and working closely with the Directors, this is a hands-on and varied role covering all asset management responsibilities for a range of property asset types, including but not limited to:
- Monitoring leases and dealing with lease expiries, renewals and rent reviews
- Marketing available space, negotiating new lettings and instructing and working with legal advisors
- Regularly inspecting properties and developing and maintaining good Landlord / Tenant relationships
- Responsibility for service charge budgets and authorising works including refurbishment programmes alongside the Construction team to ensure properties are kept in good repair
- Assisting with investment purchases and developments as and when they arise
The Candidate
- Store are looking for a personable, smart and self-motivated candidate who is versatile and a team player. The ideal candidate will have the following:
- MRICS qualification and 1-3 years post qualification experience
- Experience with leases and lease negotiations useful
- Agency experience would be useful but not essential
- Prior Asset Management experience is not necessary
Location
The role will be based in the Chichester office with the option to work from the London office from time to time.
Remuneration
The basic salary range will be dependent on prior experience but is likely to be in the range of £55k to £70k pa. In addition to the basic salary there is provision of an electric car, medical insurance and an annual bonus.
