Asset Manager (Greater London)

The Company:

Our client is a dynamic real estate investor, asset and development manager with a focus on UK town centres and retail assets. They are a leader in the repositioning and development of retail property and town centres.

Job Role:

This sector-leading team is seeking a commercially aware and driven individual to work in their growing asset management team. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, this role will asset manage a number of assets across the portfolio offering direct exposure to key stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

• Implementation of the agreed asset business plans to deliver targets.
• Managing and executing leasing work
• Identifying and managing capital expenditure for projects
• Implementing and overseeing refurbishment programmes and asset repositioning.
• Managing third party service providers
• Interacting with occupational tenants
• Taking an active role in reporting, both internally and externally.
• Assisting with any required due diligence for UK acquisitions and sales.

Candidate’s Skillset/Qualities:

• Previous asset management experience preferred but not essential. Consultancy side candidates with retail leasing or PM backgrounds would be considered.
• Experience of retail, leisure or F&B.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• A good understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A strong work ethic.

Experience level and remuneration:

The basic salary of the role will be dependant on experience but is expected to be in the £70,000 – £80,000 range a competitive discretionary bonus.
