Falmouth Exeter Plus is seeking a highly motivated Accommodation Officer to join our Accommodation team on a full-time basis. This position provides advice and guidance to prospective and existing students on a wide range of accommodation matters including applications, allocations, accommodation options, contractual queries, and payments. The role also supports student wellbeing by signposting to appropriate services and making referrals where required.

Maintaining accurate records is an important part of the role, including maintaining information within accommodation systems and spreadsheets to support applications, allocations and service reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy and professionalism when supporting students who may be experiencing challenging personal or accommodation circumstances.

You will work closely with colleagues across FX Plus and partner institutions to deliver a proactive and responsive accommodation service. You will also liaise with internal teams, external accommodation providers and private landlords to support students in securing suitable accommodation. You will work collaboratively within a small team and contribute to maintaining a supportive and inclusive working environment.

The successful candidate will have significant experience working in a general administrative role within a busy office environment. You will have experience of providing effective advice and signposting within a complex organisation, together with the ability to prioritise a substantial workload and work accurately to deadlines in a pressurised environment. Experience of delivering excellent customer service, supporting individuals in a professional and empathetic manner, and maintaining accurate records using computerised systems is also essential.

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract, Monday to Friday.
