Working as part of the Marketing & External Relations Team, this is a varied role where you will be directly involved with identifying, managing and coordinating relationships with aligned industry, media and cultural partners to promote the University. As well as identifying these sources, you will also flex your marketing and content coordination skills; working with colleagues across the team to ensure any media assets are created in line with the partner’s requirements.

Alongside these core qualities, our ideal candidate will be experienced managing media projects, and comfortable owning the implementation and production of assets and materials relating to paid media partnerships, such as briefing in design assets, collating marketing materials for events, writing copy for advertising and ad hoc production tasks.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills across all formats, with the ability to represent the University with external advertising partners.
  • Experience of working in a marketing or media role, managing digital, print or event sponsorship projects.
  • Experience working with academic and professional services teams to create compelling marketing content in support of partnership packages, such as writing copy for news articles, interviews for podcasts, etc.
  • Supported by the Head of Digital & Content, comfortable working with partners to negotiate preferential rates and secure value for money from all paid partnership and media opportunities.
  • Able to work with colleagues across the Marketing & Communications team to identify successes and failures and make recommendations for tactics to maximise ROI.

This is a fixed term for 12 months, full-time position working 35 hours across Monday-Friday starting 1 August 2026. Our ideal candidate will be available to attend weekly team meetings in person on our Cornwall campuses. However, we are also open to hybrid or UK-based remote workers for this role. The closing date for the position is Sunday 5 July 2026.

In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer excellent benefits, including:

  • 28 days + 8 days bank holiday
  • Annual salary increments (Until top of grade reached)
  • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity Pay/Adoption Pay

  • Salary Sacrifice Cycle Scheme
  • Salary Sacrifice Home & Tech Scheme
  • Life Assurance
