About The Role
Falmouth Exeter Plus manages and delivers services at Falmouth, Penryn and Truro Campuses on behalf of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter. Working closely with the Falmouth & Exeter Students\’ Union (The SU) and the wider, universities partnership we support Higher Education learning and living, ensuring that the interests of all campus users are at the heart of everything we do.
With two universities and multiple campuses, it is a complex, fast-moving environment where agility and a positive approach to change and enhancement are central to our progress. We are looking to recruit two in-sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Tutors to join our team supporting students and researchers on the Penryn, Falmouth and Truro campuses.
As an EAP tutor, you will play a key role in supporting students’ and researchers’ language skills development through group teaching, 1:1 guidance and development of resources. You will work closely with colleagues in library and student support and from both Falmouth and Exeter Universities. You will also collaborate across the universities to enhance the international student experience more widely.
About You
- Demonstrable experience of designing engaging learning resources and delivering innovative teaching
- A strong interest in helping students reach their potential and an understanding of the international student experience in the UK
- Adaptability and an ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
- Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week for 39 weeks
- Fixed term to 1 September 2026, full-time, 37.5 hours per week
