We are looking for a People Coordinator to join our People & Culture team and play a key role in delivering a high quality, people focused service across Falmouth University and our partner organisation Falmouth Exeter Plus. In this varied and fast paced role, you will be at the heart of our people operations function. You will act as a first point of contact for managers, employees and workers, responding to a wide range of employment related queries and providing timely, accurate advice in line with policy and legislation.

You will be involved in all stages of the employment lifecycle, from supporting starters through to leavers, processing contractual changes and maintaining accurate records. Alongside this, you will carry out essential compliance activities such as right to work and DBS checks, and support the administration of annual leave, sickness and family leave. Working closely with colleagues across People & Culture, you will contribute to delivering a consistent, professional and positive service. About You

You are organised, detail focused and enjoy working with people. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, responding to queries and finding solutions in a busy operational environment.

You will bring:

  • A professional and approachable communication style, with confidence supporting a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good numeracy and IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week across Monday-Friday. We operate a hybrid flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work from home and either campus. An on-campus presence will be required on a weekly basis of two days per week.
