Falmouth Exeter Plus are seeking to appoint a Nursery Nurse to join the close-knit team at our Nursery at our Penryn or Falmouth campus. Our unique setting provides a warm, nurturing environment and high-quality childcare for children aged 6 months to five years. Ofsted rated ‘Good’, our nurseries are extremely popular and are led by a dedicated team.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver the daily curriculum in compliance with the Nursery’s standards, policies, and procedures and in line with the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will ensure that all daily activities are conducted in a way which provides a happy, stimulating, and secure learning environment for the children.

About You

The successful candidate for this role will ideally hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent; however, candidates possessing a level 2 will also be considered. You should possess previous experience of working with children, a commitment to maintaining high standards of care, confidentiality and initiative, as well as a flexible approach towards working hours. Due to the nature of the role, you will also be required to undergo an Enhanced with Regulated Activity Disclosure & Barring Service Check.

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract working Monday to Friday. There is flexibility in the working hours which will be discussed further at interview.
