For Companies This is a hands-on technical role, working across academic buildings, student residences and specialist facilities, where system reliability, occupant comfort and statutory compliance are critical. The post holder will undertake planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and minor works on a wide range of HVAC and mechanical services plant, working closely with supervisors, fellow trades and the Estates Helpdesk to ensure work is delivered safely, professionally and to a high standard.
This role offers the opportunity to genuinely influence how compliance is delivered across a complex and diverse estate. Rather than simply maintaining existing systems, you’ll have the autonomy to shape standards, challenge delivery approaches, and drive meaningful improvements.
