This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our Estates Helpdesk, helping to coordinate maintenance activities, support contractors and ensure our campus buildings and facilities are maintained effectively.

As an Estates Helpdesk Coordinator, you will act as a first point of contact for Estates enquiries, managing requests from initial reporting through to completion. Working closely with colleagues across Estates and the wider university partnership, you will help deliver a professional, responsive and customer-focused service while identifying opportunities to improve our processes and ways of working.

About You

Reporting to the Estates Helpdesk Manager, you'll be a proactive, organised and customer-focused individual who thrives in a busy and varied working environment. • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and working with digital systems.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience within Estates, Facilities Management or a maintenance environment would be advantageous, as would familiarity with CAFM systems such as Planon, contractor management platforms such as HereSafe, or asset and planned maintenance coordination. However, previous Estates experience is not essential, and we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
