Are you a newly qualified chef looking to kick start your career in an exciting and developing kitchen, or experienced in your career but wanting a new challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our university catering team.

We are looking to hear from candidates who are enthusiastic and passionate about food who will be able to support the kitchen teams in delivering an excellent quality service to all our customers. We are a growing team, and you will have the opportunity to make the role your own. Many of our team have progressed their roles with us, with the successful candidate having the support of a dedicated, skilled team.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar environment, have a customer focused mind-set and strive to deliver on and exceed students, staff and visitors’ expectations. You will have a flexible approach to hours and work, adaptability to be able to work on different menus and different sections and across different sites and be able to maintain high standards at all times, ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Consistently produce high quality dishes to an excellent standard
  • Be ambitious, motivated, and keen to develop skills and knowledge
  • A great sense of humour and be honest, dedicated and have a hardworking approach

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract.
