This is a fantastic chance to join the Retail/Catering team at Falmouth Exeter Plus as a Casual Assistant — a role that lets you earn money, gain experience, and become part of the buzzing Penryn and Falmouth Campus community.
You’ll be based on either campus, helping us deliver a friendly, professional, and memorable service to everyone who visits. It’s a role that’s perfect for building your confidence, boosting your CV, and developing practical skills you can use long after university.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bringing great energy to every shift and delivering friendly, standout service to every customer.
- Jumping into the heart of a busy retail or catering outlet, helping things run smoothly from opening to close.
- Serving customers confidently, handling payments, and making recommendations with a smile.
- Getting hands-on with stock replenishment, food and drink preparation, merchandising, or setting up service areas — no two shifts are the same.
- Keeping the outlet clean, safe, and looking its best, even during peak times.
- Working closely with a lively, supportive team and stepping up when things get busy.
- Learning fast, building practical skills, and gaining valuable experience in a real-world work environment.

Full training and induction will be provided before the successful candidates start work. These positions are offered on a casual hourly paid basis, aligned with both the needs of the business and your university schedule and availability. You must be available to start work in September 2026.
