An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated applicants to join the Accommodation services at Penryn Campus as a Casual General Assistant.
Duties will include:
- Legionella flushing
- General Housekeeping duties/Caretaking duties
- Laundry upkeep and Counting
Based on either the Penryn and Falmouth Campus, the successful candidate will be extremely customer focused and will strive to be professional, charismatic, dedicated, trusted and approachable in every aspect of their work.
About You
The successful candidates will have a customer focused mind-set and strive to deliver and exceed students, staff, and visitors’ expectations. You will be extremely reliable and once trained, be able to work with minimum supervision and have an organised approach.
We are looking for candidates who also have the following skills/experience:
- Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Previous customer service experience
- An honest, dedicated, and hardworking approach
It would be desirable for candidates to possess a full UK driving licence.
Full training and induction will be provided before the successful candidates start work. These positions are offered on a casual hourly paid basis. It is anticipated that the successful candidates would work 3-4 days per week during July and August, with hours during the rest of the summer period being dependent on demand.
