Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse Falkland Islands King Edward VII Memorial Hospital * Full time - 37.5 Hours Per Week * Staff Nurse starting from £29,482 - £33,832 DOE * Senior Staff Nurse starting from £36,274- £41,668 DOE * Plus 25% gratuity payment on successful completion of contract. On-call and Overtime available. The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital is looking for an experienced NHS or equivalent registered nurse. The King Edward VII Memorial hospital offers the ability to work in a friendly and supportive team which provides excellent personalised patient care. The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital is the principal healthcare facility in the Falkland Islands, providing primary, secondary, community care and a broad range of elective and emergency care services. We offer a variety of clinical services working with Allied health professionals. The hospital environment is one where clinical staff are encouraged to develop their skill and experience and contribute to particular areas of clinical expertise. Stanley is a friendly and busy town with a wide range of amenities and a variety of clubs and associations, with easy access to the countryside. Applicants must be registered with the United Kingdom’s Nursing and Midwifery Council (or equivalent body) and have a minimum of two years of post-registration experience. The Package: * Staff Nurse £29,482 - £33,832 depending on qualifications and experience plus enhancements for unsocial hours and on-call for a Staff Nurse or * Senior Staff Nurse £36,274 - £41,668 depending on qualification and experience plus enhancements for unsocial hours and on-call for a Senior Staff Nurse. * 25% Gratuity payable on successful completion of contract. * Relocation Allowance to help with moving costs. * Flights Package for you and your dependents, including mid-term return flight home. * Annual Leave of 41 days comprising 30 days of annual leave and 11 days of public/government holidays. * Government Housing for rent and a starter pack to help you settle in. * The Falkland Islands has an advantageous taxation regime for a salary in this range in comparison to the United Kingdom.
