The Falkland Islands Government is seeking a Dental Therapist to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive dental care including dental hygiene and therapy activities, and supporting the oral health of our diverse community. Full nursing support is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental hygiene and therapy procedures including examinations, radiographs, periodontal treatments, direct restorations, and deciduous extractions.
  • Provide tailored preventive dental care and advice.
  • Participate in community-level oral health promotion and education activities.
  • Mentor trainee dental nurses and participate in clinical governance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Dental Hygiene Therapy
  • Registration with the UK General Dental Council

Package:

  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • Up to 4 year fixed term contract.
  • Salary £40,668 to £46,667 plus 25% gratuity on successful completion of contract.
  • Generous annual leave allowance, relocation and flights package.
