Falkirk’s tourism economy is growing, and we are seeking a talented, creative and motivated individual to help shape how Falkirk is positioned, promoted and experienced by visitors. You will play a lead role within a small, collaborative team, delivering Falkirk’s destination marketing and tourism development activity.

This will include creating imaginative and engaging campaigns that inspire people to visit, stay and explore, as well as curating and creating compelling digital content to ensure Falkirk’s voice is clearly heard in a competitive national and international visitor landscape.

Alongside marketing delivery, you will support tourism industry engagement, working collaboratively with local tourism and hospitality businesses, partners and stakeholders to strengthen the destination offer and ensure marketing activity is well-informed, consistent and aligned.

As a strong and confident communicator, you will understand how effective destination marketing, place-branding and partnership working support the growth of the visitor economy. You will be responsible for managing and developing social media channels, with a clear focus on increasing reach, engagement and profile.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team and contribute to the continued growth of Falkirk’s visitor economy, working at the intersection of marketing, tourism development and stakeholder collaboration. This post is temporary until June 2027 to cover a period of secondment.
