Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant for Ladeside Primary School. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children.

Good communication skills are essential and the role will require supporting children with mobility needs. You should enjoy working as part of a team.

The school are looking to recruit 2 SFLA’s covering the following hours:

  • 28.75 hours per week on a term time basis. You will work 4 days (Monday to Thursday) in the schools ASC base, and 1 day (Friday) in the mainstream school, 8.45am to 3.15pm.
  • 5 hours per week on a term time basis. You will work Wednesday to Friday in the schools ASC base, 8.45am to 3.00pm, 16.5 hours per week.

Both posts are temporary until June 2026 due to service requirement. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
