The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will assist the Dollar Park Dementia Service management team in providing services to older adults who have a diagnosis of dementia to live in their own home for as long as possible with the best quality of life. By providing the day-to-day operational management of the Service in line with policy, procedures and allocated budgets in providing a service to meet the needs of adults who have a diagnosis of Dementia.
You will provide practical support and supervision to your team. You will be involved in assessments, maintaining accurate records and reports on individuals and coordinating group activities. This includes managing rotas, communication with Social Work, care plans and service development, as well as working with other professionals and stakeholders of the service.
You should have knowledge and experience of working in a community care setting and/or direct experience of working with people with Dementia. The ability to work jointly with other disciplines is required. You must be motivated to support people to lead full and positive lives by operating in a person-centred capacity.
HNC/SVQ3 in social care or equivalent is required. You must have the ability to be mobile across the Falkirk Council area. You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
