Falkirk Council is leading on a number of ambitious and nationally significant investment programmes through its Investment, Assets and Climate Division. The Division leads on programmes including the Falkirk and Grangemouth Growth Deal, Forth Green Freeport, Tax Increment Finance, Corporate Property Modernisation and Learning Estate Development.
As part of the property modernisation agenda, a new post of Learning Estate Co-ordinator within the newly established Corporate Asset Management and Climate Change Team has been created. Reporting initially direct to the Head of Service and collaborating with Children’s Services Senior Leadership team, we are seeking an experienced modernisation programme professional who will lead on the review of the Councils Learning Estate.
The review will consider existing and future capacity requirements, optimisation and modernisation of the estate and supporting the development of business cases for future investment decisions. The role is expected to work collaboratively with services including Children’s Services, Planning and various property asset management teams as well as relevant external agencies and key stakeholders to develop and deliver a new learning estate strategy and management plan.
