Are you looking for a role where your technical expertise makes a real difference to communities? Falkirk Council is seeking an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Maintenance Division on a maternity cover basis.

In this role, you will:

  • Support in inspecting and surveying housing stock to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Respond to technical queries from the public, council staff, and elected members.
  • Liaise with external contractors and agencies to ensure work meets specification and deadlines.
  • Authorise payments, carry out spot checks, and monitor quality standards.
  • Investigate complaints and provide clear, professional reports.
