Falkirk Council’s Conflict Resolution Service has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mediation & Intervention Officer. The officer will respond to neighbour complaints and antisocial behaviour in an effective and person-centred way. They will assess and identify the most appropriate method of resolving conflict, this will include encouraging the use of Mediation, enforcing the conditions of the tenancy agreement, signposting to support services to address the cause of the behaviour.
In addition, we offer a family mediation service to help young people who may be thinking of leaving home. We are looking for an individual educated to HND standard with experience of dealing with ASB and neighbour nuisance, and ideally with relevant mediation experience and/or training, preferably within a housing context.
