Are you an enthusiastic, motivated, compassionate and flexible individual who understands and respects the rights of other people? If so, we want you to come and join our Housing with care team.

Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership delivers high quality care and support to people of all ages and with varying levels of need. Your role will include supporting service users to maintain and develop their daily living skills and improve independence.

Our service operates 7 days per week between 7:30am and 10pm and we currently have several temporary vacancies within Glenfuir Court for a period of 3 months initially with various hours and shift patterns that will be discussed at interview.

As an employee, you would receive a wide range of benefits including:

  • payment monthly for accrued annual leave calculated as a % of casual hours worked in the previous month
  • professional qualification (SVQ 2 Health & Social Care)

  • travel costs between visits are reimbursed within HMRC levels

A level of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service. Housing with care supports 4 buildings within the Falkirk Area and you may be required to work across all buildings at times.

Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within the first 6 months of working with Falkirk Council is a requirement of the post. You will also be required to achieve an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care within an agreed timescale if you have not already achieved this award.

If you are the successful candidate for the role of Housing with care worker, you will be working with vulnerable adults which is considered Regulated Work under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Registration with the SSSC is essential for this post as is the ability to maintain PVG membership. The successful applicant will have their SSSC registration covered under the paid entry costs scheme funded by the Scottish Government.

All posts involve periods of lone working. You will work 22.5 hours per week. This post is temporary until May 2026 to cover a secondment period.
