Are you passionate about making workplaces safer and healthier? Falkirk Council is looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Officer to join our team and help shape a positive safety culture across our organisation. In this role, you’ll provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees, support incident investigations, and help develop policies and training that keep our people safe and well. You’ll also play a key part in implementing our Health & Safety and Wellbeing strategies and maintaining our online safety management system.
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with health & safety software (e.g., Evotix Assure) is a bonus
