Job Advert We are looking to employee casual Domestic Assistants to support our five services on casual basis.
The successful candidates will be expected to: Carry out domestic tasks related to the enhanced cleaning of bedrooms, corridors, toilets/bathrooms and communal areas whilst following strict Infection Prevention and Control measures.
Undertake laundry duties, which include operating cleaning, drying and ironing equipment.
Take responsibility for ensuring your practice adheres to Health and Safety legislation and therefore a good knowledge of managing chemicals, machinery and promoting a safe work environment is an essential requirement of this post.
W ork within our services on an “as and when required” basis, and to be able to communicate and engage effectively with the residents/service users/guests who live with a variety of needs and access our services.
This post requires shift and weekend work and as it requires contact with vulnerable groups you will need to gain/maintain PVG Scheme membership.
Casual contract – shifts can be available over 7 days a week.
