This is an exciting time for Social Workers to join the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership. We have recently recruited a senior locality leadership team that is committed to ongoing professional practice development and career progression. We are fully committed to strengthening professional practice.
We are currently undergoing a wide-scale service transformation that will not only improve outcomes for our service users, their carers, families and communities, but will also see the development of a stronger Social Work service within the partnership. Working with local communities and a wide range of partners, our services continue to develop to support our ambition to help adults live safe, healthy and independent lives by offering enhanced preventative, pro-active and responsive community services.
We are now looking to appoint a Community Care Worker/Social Worker to our Hospital team. You will be a motivated Social Worker who is both enthusiastic and committed to improving the lives of our service users and our communities, who practices in a way that promotes better outcomes and focuses on strengths, rather than deficits.
We are particularly interested in hearing from Social Workers with relevant post-qualifying experience or awards such as Mental Health Officer Award, or Practice Learning qualification. You will join one of our multi-skilled teams; working closely with colleagues from within the health and social care partnership, in addition to a wide range of external partners.
In return, we will offer you ongoing professional development opportunities, a supportive environment with regular professional supervision and access to training. We are currently developing a clearer structure for career progression opportunities. You will also receive the support of a committed senior leadership team, which sees the true value of Social Work, where despite the pressures of budget savings and increased demand for services, we are committed to strengthening the role.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership. For further information and informal discussion contact Dawn Main on 01324 673553.
