Could you be our next Building Operations Sectional Officer within our Building Maintenance Division? In this role you will support the daily management of resources within Building Maintenance, ensuring the provision of high-quality services that demonstrate Best Value and adhere to legislative and financial standards.
What we are looking for:
The ideal person for this role will be proactive and experienced with the ability to manage resources within our Building Maintenance team. The chosen candidate will ensure high-quality service delivery that meets statutory obligations, demonstrates Best Value, and complies with legislative and financial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate and deploy resources to meet service targets.
- Prepare performance reports for senior management.
- Monitor service providers, authorise payments, and conduct quality checks.
- Review and improve working practices.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams for materials and transport.
- Investigate complaints and manage emergency situations.
- Conduct HR investigations and supervise a multi-trade workforce.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff.
