As a Scrum lead of a team of individuals in a specific area of digital expertise, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components: Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution is about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.
An Enterprise Business Platforms Scrum Lead plays a crucial role in Agile project management and is responsible for facilitating the Scrum process in teams. The Scrum Lead guides, facilitates, and coaches the team on using Agile/Scrum practices and values. They help the team work cohesively to reach their highest potential and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes within set timelines. You will be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in your field.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove Impediments: Identify and remove any obstacles or blockers that affect the team's performance.
- Ensure Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where communication is open and transparent among team members.
- Coach and Mentor: Provide support and training to help the team embrace and implement Agile Scrum methodologies effectively.

- Monitor Value Team(s) Progress: Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected parties.
- Conflict Resolution: Help resolve interpersonal conflicts and issues within the team to ensure a productive working environment.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members within the practice and across other digital and business units.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and practices in a specific area of expertise.
- Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance outcomes and digital capabilities.
- Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to your Capability Lead and team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in Agile projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Experience with Azure Boards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
