Seeking a focused DevOps Architect to design and deliver a secure, automated route-to-live platform. Primary responsibilities include migrating CI/CD to Harness, defining IaC for Azure VMware Solution (AVS), and establishing observability and pipeline governance. Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Windows/SQL Server automation, and enterprise CI/CD tooling required.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end CI/CD using Harness; create reusable build and release templates, promote environment gating, and own pipeline best practices.
- Lead migration of TFS build pipelines and IBM UCD release flows into Harness with migration playbooks and rollback plans.
- Define and implement IaC patterns for AVS using PowerShell and modular templates to enable repeatable environment provisioning.
- Standardize automation for Windows Server 2022, SQL Server 2022, IIS, DNS, F5, and firewall configurations; produce reusable scripts and templates.
- Design observability and alerting architecture using Dynatrace and Splunk; codify SLOs/SLIs and incident response runbooks.
- Embed quality, security, and test automation into pipelines (SonarQube, MS code analysis, Nexus, Playwright).
- Create platform governance, templating standards, and enablement materials for delivery teams; mentor engineers on adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven DevOps architecture and hands-on experience automating infrastructure and deployments with PowerShell and IaC approaches.
- Practical experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS) or similar private cloud provisioning.
- Strong administration and automation experience for Windows Server 2022 and SQL Server 2022.
- Experience migrating TFS and UCD pipelines to modern CI/CD platforms; deep familiarity with Harness.
- Integration experience with SonarQube, Nexus, MS code analysis, and test automation tools.
- Expertise in observability and logging solutions, especially Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication, and cross-team leadership skills + Team Management.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with Terraform/ARM/Bicep, containers, and orchestration platforms.
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer.
- Enterprise networking and security architecture experience.
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
