Job Description -
Data Vault 2.0 Modeler:
- 8 10 years as Data Architect.
- Design, develop, and govern enterprise grade Data Warehouse architectures using Data Vault 2.0 methodology (Hubs, Links, Satellites).
- Define and maintain logical, physical, and business data models aligned with Data Vault standards.
- Rewrite and prepare mapping documents based on the SQL based stored procedures and with new Data vault-based tables.
- Knowledge of Raw Data Vault and Business data vault concepts
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub (pull requests, branching, code reviews). Proficient with VS Code for data development workflows.
- Perform data architecture reviews, ensure consistency, and drive reusability across projects.
- Support performance tuning, data quality checks, metadata management, and lineage.
- Mentor team members on Data Vault 2.0 concepts and practical implementation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience or working knowledge of datavault4dbt (highly preferred).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
- Experience with automation, documentation, and test-driven data development.
- Usage of skill-based modeling using GitHub Copilot is highly preferred
- Experience or working knowledge of datavault4dbt (highly preferred).
- Basic proficiency in the use of AI tools.
