We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead AWS Architect with 12-15 years of experience in IT architecture and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions. This role involves leading a team of architects, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving cloud strategy and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure AWS cloud architectures.
- Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation to guide implementation and integration.
- Evaluate and select appropriate AWS services to meet technical requirements.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Automate deployment processes to ensure efficient and consistent cloud infrastructure management.
- Security and Compliance: Design and implement security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
- Implement auto-scaling and load balancing to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud solutions.
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place and tested regularly.
- Networking: Design and manage VPCs, subnets, routing tables, and security groups.
- Implement VPNs and Direct Connect for secure and reliable connectivity.
- Database Management: Design and manage AWS database services such as RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
- Implement data replication, backup, and recovery strategies.
- DevOps and Automation: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment.
- Utilize AWS services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for continuous integration and delivery.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 15-18 years of experience in IT architecture, with a significant focus on AWS cloud solutions.
- Proven track record of leading successful cloud transformation projects.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and more.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and database management in the cloud.
