The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role has two main points of reference - National Key Accounts and Field Sales. You will be proactively managing a portfolio of national key accounts with responsibility for all their activity and operational delivery. This involves building, managing and owning the commercial plan for each account to enhance profitability and deliverables. You will be interacting with Head Office main buyers across a range of market leading Merchants. Their offices are based across the Midlands and South so your role will involve travel (and some overnight stays) to attend face to face meetings. You will also have an active Field Sales presence with responsibility for developing some of our larger accounts via face to face meetings.
The person we are looking for should have previous Key Accounts sales experience ideally within Merchants or a B2B environment, a proven track record of achieving and succeeding targets and objectives, and experience of internal and external stakeholder management in large complex organisations. The ideal candidate possesses commercial acumen, interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels. Must be able to visit customers in person across the UK and possess a clean, full UK driving licence.
