The role involves proactively managing a portfolio of national key accounts with responsibility for all their activity and operational delivery. This includes building, managing and owning the commercial plan for each account to enhance profitability and deliverables. You will be interacting with Head Office main buyers across a range of market leading Merchants. The role will involve travel (and some overnight stays) to attend face-to-face meetings.
The person we are looking for should have previous sales experience ideally within Merchants or a B2B environment. A proven track record of achieving and succeeding targets and objectives is essential. Experience of internal and external stakeholder management in large complex organisations is required. Candidates should possess commercial acumen, interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels. Must be able to visit customers in person across the UK and possess a clean, full UK driving licence.
