Falcon Timber, part of Consolidated Timber Holdings Ltd (CTH), is a market leader supplying sustainable timber products to a broad range of customers mainly in the merchants and joinery markets across the UK and Ireland. This is an exciting time at Falcon Timber and CTH as we deepen our presence and expand our reach into new customer groups who are seeking quality, innovation and market leading timber solutions.
The role involves revenue generation and customer engagement by developing strong customer partnerships within our existing and target Merchant markets and identifying and converting new business opportunities. You will be meeting customers face to face across the region selling our full range of industry leading timber products which are renowned for our commitment to ethical and sustainable supply supporting the need for a carbon neutral environment.
The person we are looking for should have:
- Previous sales experience within Merchants or a B2B environment.
- A proven track record of achieving and succeeding sales targets and objectives.
- Experience of sales planning, pipeline management and CRM tools.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen, interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels, together with tenacity and self-motivation.
- Able to visit customers in person across the region and possesses a full, clean driving licence.
