Location: Bournemouth, UK (Hybrid)

Job Type: 1 year FTC

Network Design:

  • Evaluate network requirements and collaborate with teams to create scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation
  • Lead the deployment and configuration of network hardware/software
  • Create implementation runbooks
  • Automate deployment of configuration and validation across network landscape
  • Integrate new technologies into existing network systems to enhance performance and reliability

Performance Optimization:

  • Analyze and improve network performance to ensure seamless operational efficiency
  • Identify and implement best practices for network management and security

Technical Expertise:

  • SDWAN knowledge (operational plane: Management Plane, orchestration plane, control plane, data plane) and working experience on FortiGate SDWAN.
  • Migration experience of SDWAN and its deployment to another vendor.
  • Advance routing for SDWAN.
  • Experience on LAN/WAN, DC Technologies for installations, upgrades, and migration activities - Routing, Switching, and MPLS.
  • Good experience in using Cisco Nexus and ACI Infrastructure.
  • Hands-on with LAN/WAN technologies like Vlan, VTP, STP, HSRP IPSec VPN, MPLS, Lease Line, OSPF, BGP, VDC, VPC.
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, and IP management tools; familiarity with scripting and APIs as they relate to network automation.

Required Skills:

  • 8 - 10 years of IT networking experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Minimum 5 Years of Network Design and planning experience
  • Relevant certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE.
