We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Lead Consultant with a strong background in analytic platforms like SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and hands-on expertise in SAC security controls, role management, and dashboard transport mechanisms. The ideal candidate will lead SAC implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring robust governance, scalable architecture, and seamless integration with enterprise data platforms such as SAP Datasphere or SAP BW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAC implementation projects including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Design & Develop visually compelling SAC dashboards and stories using advanced features such as responsive layouts, dynamic widgets, input controls, and conditional formatting.
  • Develop and optimize FI (Financial Accounting) reporting dashboards including P&L, balance sheet, cost centre, and GL reporting.
  • Implement calendar-based scheduling for SAC publications and dashboard refreshes, ensuring timely delivery of insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage SAC content lifecycle including transport management across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
  • Ensure SAC performance optimization and scalability for large datasets and complex visualizations.
  • Design and implement SAC security models including role-based access control (RBAC), team structures, and data access authorizations.
  • Create and manage SAC roles, teams, and user provisioning strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to align SAC governance with enterprise policies.
  • Integrate SAC with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, and other data sources using live and import connections.
  • Support data modelling activities including semantic layer design, calculated measures, and hierarchies.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, and traceability across SAC and backend systems.
  • Work closely with business users, data analysts, and IT teams to translate business requirements into SAC solutions.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and demos to promote SAC adoption and self-service analytics.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including technical design, security matrix, transport logs, and user guides.
  • Establish and enforce SAC development standards, naming conventions, and version control practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Analytics, with at least 3+ years in SAC.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) including WebI, Universe Design, and scheduling.
  • Proven expertise in SAC security setup, role creation, and dashboard transport.
  • Strong and Expert in SAC story design, data modelling, and connectivity setup.
  • Experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP BW as a data source for SAC.
  • Solid understanding of BI architecture, data governance, and analytics lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP SAC certification.
  • Experience with scripting in SAC (e.g., analytic designer).
  • Exposure to SAC planning functionalities.
  • Familiarity with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, or Azure Data Lake integrations.
